The History of Discovery Science Center
SECTION 1
The Early Years

The early years of Scientific Discovery began with the production of technology models made of steel plates. Zhiq Research began when the Founder was a student at the University of Malaya. But before this he has done much research in the study of magnetism, and won a first prize for an exhibit to demonstrate its use in the measurement of mass. That was 1969-1971.

SECTION 2
Graduation Projects
After graduation, one of the first projects was the establishment of an Electronic and Research Club, which resulted in the building of Electronic Display Boards. Systems 711 and 812 were built in 1981 with the help of his students.

SECTION 4
Commercial Projects 1980
Commercial Projects began in the late 1980s, with the delivery of a series of models of Fire Alarms Light Systems
SECTION 5
Computer Software Development 1984
Computer Software Development took over as the main activity of Zhiq Research in 1984.
SECTION 6
Discovery
Science Center 2000
On 1st August 2000, Discovery Science Center was established with an outreach of e-Education over the WWW.
SECTION 7
Masters in Information Technology
In June 2002, our founder enrolled in a course in Masters in Information Technology at the University of Malaya. Research projects involve an e-Inventory System using a Web Server. The Thesis project was EWSS, a Web Services project written in C#.
SECTION 8
Post Masters
projects
2004. We are now working on Artificial Intelligence and robotics. One of our key projects will be patenting the highly classified e-M project.
