Rubber and Latex

Rubber is a natural polimer formed from isoprena as the base monomer. Natural rubber is tapped from the rubber tree as latex. Latex is a colloid consisting of negatively charged particles separated from each other by their electrical charges.

Pencegahan pembekuan lateks

Untuk mencegah lateks membeku, kita masukkan larutan ammonia.

Pemvulkanan Getah

Getah asli adalah sangat lembut. Untuk mengeraskan getah asli, sulfur dicampurkan pada suhu dan tekanan tinggi dalam proses pemvulkanan.
